Q: Where are Luna bags made?

A: To ensure full control of quality and finishing; all design, pattern making and sampling of our artisan made product is done by head designer and director Lucy Morris.
Once you have selected your favourite piece and placed an order with us, your limited edition item is then made to order, just for you, by our leather artisans in our New Zealand studio.

Q: What is Luna’s standpoint on sustainable / ethical production + supply processes?

A: Our aim is to encourage the transition from fast fashion into a more conscious mentality and remove excess from the fashion industry.

Every product is made to order, allowing limited edition runs of each item to enhance the Luna experience. Providing you with a direct relationship with our leather artisans, who will be expertly cutting, lacing and constructing your bag in our New Zealand studio. They will also be communicating directly with you, regarding customisation, repairs and answering any questions you may have.

Limited production runs allow for less material wastage, as every item is hand cut in studio for you, we are able to save leather in the pattern cutting process and the little wastage from this is saved to be used on other projects, testing our machines or repurposed etc.

There is no excess stock sold at excessive clearance prices or items that go unloved only to end up in a landfill. We view our product as an investment, pieces that grow with you, age with you and we truly believe every Luna bag is a beautifully crafted product that will last a lifetime if cared for appropriately.

Q: How do the items for Pre-sale work?

A: You will be charged at checkout when ordering an item for pre-sale (we are not able to hold credit card information and bill later).
The item will be delivered during the timeframe that is posted on the product page.
